Jenny Sturgis

Jenny has been practicing visual identity and graphic design for over 15 years. She has extensive experience in logo and brand identity development using a creative process that gets to the true meaning of an organization. She has a broad understanding of visual communication using it to consult and educate clients on messaging, how to best express this, and reach target audiences.

After several years working in the printing industry, Jenny has a remarkable perspective on designing for print. She brings this into her creative process and presents non-traditional and distinct solutions for her client’s printed work. This design knowledge extends into web presence and she uses this attention to detail as a tool to maintain company integrity through visual identity cohesion.

A few years ago, Jenny went back to Herron School of Art + Design to diversify her skills. She has emerged as a natural in the discipline of  service design. Recently, she has been applying this meaningful intent to human-centered experiences, including non-profit organizations,  events, and conferences. This includes project management, event branding and cohesion, marketing, event collateral and the participant’s overall experience on-site.

In her personal life, Jenny enjoys time with her family as a wife to her husband, Dan, and proud mother of one daughter, Lily. She especially enjoys cooking, creating, and entertaining. Jenny has recently felt called to feed her community. She sees how joyful serving a meal can be and wants to extend that opportunity to others. It is in her core values to bring meaningful and authentic experiences whenever possible. Helping others find these experiences is an important goal for Jenny.
